It is the objective of the dress code to be adaptive to changing fashions in the golf industry while continuing to maintain the high standards expected by Members. Members are encouraged to consider common sense, respect for tradition and modesty when making attire decisions. The dress code regulations apply to all Members, children and guests.
  • Golfers are to wear proper golf attire that follows industry standards, as determined by the product lines sold by golf apparel companies.
  • Shirts for men and boys must have a collar and sleeves. Shirts for ladies and girls must have a collar or sleeves. Mock necks are acceptable.
  • Items NOT PERMITTED include; cargo pants/shorts with expandable outside pockets, gym shorts, spandex shorts, cut-off shorts, tennis shorts, tracksuits, yoga pants, sweatpants, sweatshirts, tank tops, halter tops or bare midriffs, items with garish, vulgar or offensive language or slogans.

  • Dresses and appropriate formal or semi-formal attire is acceptable in the Clubhouse and for social events at the Club.
  • Hats and visors are not permitted in indoor dining areas unless for medical reasons.
  • We are a “soft spikes” only course. Acceptable footwear must be worn on all playing and practice areas.
Management and staff have been instructed to enforce the dress code and given the authority to prohibit any improperly dressed Member or Guest from golfing or dining until the dress infraction is corrected. These rules apply to all Guests of functions, as well as Members and their Guests. Members whose dress (or the dress of their Guests or Children) is deemed to be unacceptable will be notified by mail.
Earl Grey has instituted a new time par for the 2022 season.  The expected times for play are as follows:

•    If your tee time is within the first hour of play, you are expected to play within four hours (4:00).
•    For all other tee times, you are expected to play within four hours and ten minutes (4:10).

Players should stop play and seek shelter any time they believe lightning threatens them, even if a signal has not been sounded.

The Thor Guard Lightning Prediction System will be activated if there is a threat of cloud to ground lightning (the most dangerous to golfers) within the area. Players will be warned of a red alert with one prolonged blast (15 seconds) signaling immediate suspension of play and practice.

All Members, Guests and Staff must adhere to the Club's policy of immediately stopping play and seeking shelter when the System is activated and may not recommence play until the System or staff member has advised the golfers that they may do so.

The System will sound 3 blasts of 5 seconds each to signify all clear. This policy applies to both golf courses, the driving range and all practice facilities. Shelter may be in the Clubhouse, Pro Shop, Half-Way House, Club and Cart Storage Building, vehicle in the parking lot or at any of the lightning rod protected shelters on the golf course.

Avoid open areas, water, tall trees, metal fences, overhead wires & power lines, elevated ground, golf power carts, mowers, cell phones and radios.
